India is a vast country, a land of Gods and wonderful Temples historically referred to the territory bounded by the Hindu Kush and the Himalayas often known as 'Dev Bhumi' or the abode of Gods. Every where all over India is heavily steeped in mythology, and every art and architecture has its own importance. . If there is anything great in Indian culture,
then it is surely the temples of ancient time.

There is hardly any city, any town or any village in the India that does not have temples. Infact Bhubaneshwar an Indian State Capital of Orissa is known as the temple city of India. In India right from the magnificent Himalayas in the north side, to the splendid bottom Kanyakumari in the south side, India is dotted with thousands of temples and shrines.
